About Us

Our vision is to create an equitably managed and sustainable sports hub for all of Newark that will maximise participation in recreational and competitive sport.

The Newark Sports Association (NSA) is not just about sport, its about the community doing something for itself.  The NSA is about community ownership, involvement, participation and self-determination.

The NSA is a community benefit society and registered charity. The NSA has been established to create equitably managed, and sustainable sports facilities of the highest quality for the people of Newark and the surrounding area. It is our intention to develop sports facilities that will inspire local people to achieve at the highest level, encourage participation and to establish Newark as a centre for sporting excellence.

The NSA was incorporated on the 17th May 2012 and is regulated by the Financial Conduct authority.  On the 8th October 2012 the NSA was registered as an exempt charity with HMRC.  The NSA is based on the democratic principal of one member one vote, each member has an equal share and there is an asset lock so that assets cannot be sold off our disbursed.
